Juliet CurryJuliet Curry has an extensive background in the creative arts. In 1993, Juliet graduated Summa Cum Laude from Stephen’s College with a Bachelor Degree in Performing Arts. She has acted and taught professionally for the past ten years. Juliet has worked with children of all ages teaching creative movement, drama, poetry, writing, storytelling, dance, fairy-tales and arts and crafts. She has taught at the Idyllwild School of the Arts Summer Program, The Santa Monica Police Activities League, also with Dramagination, and a national tour with The National Theater for Children. She has also worked with a variety of groups teaching acting and improvisation to adults, including ImprovOlympic, The Second City, ComedySportz, Spark Creative and the critically acclaimed Boom Chicago, based in Amsterdam. Her work has sent her to Holland, Switzerland, Portugal and beyond. |
Erica HunterErica Hunter has an extensive background in theatre arts and dance. She is a graduate of the Los Angeles Theatre Academy, and has studied ballet and jazz for over 10 years. Erica has been teaching children between the ages of 3-16 years old for 5 years at local schools and recreation centers throughout the L. A. area. She is committed to exploring and nurturing the creative potential of her students through drama and dance. |
Laura WalshOriginator of Dramagination, Laura Walsh is an actress of stage, film and television. A product of children’s theatre (qualified with a Theatre Arts degree) she understands the medium and is committed to bringing its benefits to a new generation of interested children. |

Laura Aka - Owner/ Director - AbrakadoodleIn years past, Laura worked as a news reporter/ producer in Minneapolis, Chicago and San Francisco. After relocating to Los Angeles, Laura moved into television production in the entertainment industry - working on a variety of projects for NBC, CBS, History Channel, A&E, Fox, Lifetime and others. In 2004, Laura was "serendipitously" introduced to the creator of the Abrakadoodle visual arts curriculum and decided it was time to make a life change. Bryan RoneBryan Rone is a professional dancer, choreographer, and aspiring writer-producer from Columbus, Ohio. You may have seen his commercials & music videos on TV, dancing for Nikki Flores, NIKE, G4 Tech TV, and other works. Bryan loves to teach children and has been a part of KidStar since he was 17. |
Sandra de FontanesSandra de Fontanes, who teaches our Spanish: Music and Language Circle, is a Bilingual Speech Pathologist, who has taught in the San Diego and Manhattan Beach Unified School Districts and is currently on staff at the French Pre-School "Ecole Clairefontaine." Sandra is the author of the award-winning DVD series "Hola Amigos", a three-part volume produced by Monterey Media. |
Alena Ardas WrightA former song and dance diva, Alena Ardas stumbled upon Kundalini Yoga somewhat by accident. Over the years, she has seen how this physical, mental and spiritual practice has positively impacted every aspect of her life. She prides herself on empowering people and building community through her joyful, intimate classes. Alena is honored to have studied with, and be certified by Gurmukh Khalsa, the foremost teacher in Prenatal and Mommy and Me Kundalini Yoga. |
Nicole ClarkeNicole Clarke has been developing curriculum and teaching dance for past four years. She has taught a range of classes, from modern technique, to capoeira, to creative movement and choreography. She was recently trained in early childhood teaching techniques through a young children's fitness program called MyGym. Her early children's dance curriculum is inspired from Anne Green Gilbert's creative dance work. She had the privilege of studying with children's dance instructors from all over the world at the International Children's Dance Festival in Brazil in 2003. |
Koree SparksKoree Sparks is a talented Art Teacher with a real passion for educating through the Arts. She is a graduate of the prestigious California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA, and for the last three years, Koree has educated some of LA's brightest young artistic minds. Koree teaches with an emphasis on self-expression and a sharing knowledge of Art History. As the Lead Art teacher for Summit View, Culver City, Koree has developed and refined the school-wide Art Program while educating children of all needs and all ages. |
